Why I hate winter and how I'm going to make it better for myself.

Winter Wednesday
The sun is out and bright
I love the chilly day
I loathe the freezing night

I find winter is a difficult time of year for me to get motivated. My gym attendance drops, my diets fail after 2 days, none of my clothes keep me warm enough. I just want to stay in bed all day or sit infront of the heater and watch movies and eat pizza.
In summer, I can't stand being stuck indoors, I go out and have fun, salads are amazing and getting to a gym isn't like a chore. Get me to a swimming pool ASAP in summer. I found when I was swimming and training at the gym 4-5 days a week, I felt better about myself. Even though I may not have been eating the best, just taking care of my body in a physical sense made me feel amazing.

So, new plan, starting today. I need to organise my life and my time better. I would like to go for a swim and to the gym at least 3 times a week during the rest of winter.

Come summer, I want to be one of the fine looking ladies on the beach, not hiding under layers of clothing.

I will be posting progress pics on my blog and just writing little tid bits here and there about my torturous training experiences.
