Deleting my WoW subscription.

I am thinking about deleting my World of Warcraft subscription.

I want to get better at the game, but to get better, I need to invest a lot of time into playing, and I feel that at this point in my life, my time can be used for much more productive things.

I want to focus more on my blog and YouTube channel, and finding a good full time job.

I will miss playing WoW, and I'm sure, give me 6 months, I'll be back. I'm really taking a pokemon approach to the pet battles and collecting/ capturing all the pets. I need a lot more experience in PvP, and I would love to do some heroic dungeon runs and get myself a cool mount and awesome gear. At this point in time, it's not going to happen. I feel like WoW would be a better experience for me if I made some friends in the game, but I haven't met anyone, and it's just lonely for me to play (even though I sometimes play with my boyfriend) and I've got no one who would like to help carry or teach my n00b ass.

I'm not 100% certain I will be unsubscribing yet. I will think about it for a couple days and confirm the decision then.
I might watch a bunch of WoW PvP YouTube clips and teach myself from them and build up my want to play again, but for now, this is where I stand and how I feel.

  1. Wow Jacky.... I stopped playing WoW for a bit too but so time consuming and just can't do it with Uni & work happening for me at the same time. So many things to do but so little time! xox

    1. I know!! When my life gets a bit more structure to it, and I am working regular hours and such, I may be able to fit in a couple day a week to the game. But at the moment it's impossible to fit everything in.
