PURPLE!!
I love the colour purple. The combination of the deep, sad blue and romantic, royal red. To me, purple is an interesting colour. It can be fun, but serious at the same time.
Whenever I think of something that is purple, I immediately think flowers. I love the natural art of the world and I love that the colour purple plays a part in that, but apart from flowers, what else is naturally purple?

POEM "BEFORE THE DESTINATION"
BEFORE THE DESTINATION
Through the sky, clouds pass us by.
When we go, we go so fast.
The time, the earth, the land we pass.
Streaming through the air, so light.
To reach our destination by flight.
Nothing really matters up here.
Beause we're travelling, nothing to fear.

MILEY & LIAM!
Love is hard to maintain when the relationship is wild. The woman, followed by paparazzi everywhere and has every move she makes documented, is trying to prove she's all grown up by acting a little crazy. The man, not so much in the lime light, but still behaving like a normal human being because he doesn't wish to disturb his image. They both have to travel as a part of their jobs. Liam's family and hometown is here in Australia and Miley is travelling everywhere promoting her new album, Bangerz (due to release October 4th- just over 2 weeks away! I'M EXCITED!). It would have been very difficult for the couple to get any alone time together.
I really don't think Miley's image change helped. A lot of Miley's fans stuck by her through it, but it may not have been Liam's taste. I don't know and I can't say for sure what came between them. I kinda hope we don't find out, I wish them the privacy they need at this moment in time.
I am sad for the two of them, I think they would have been very happy with each other. I am glad they didn't get married, although the wedding would have been incredible, I think ending it now has saved them a lot of hassle say if they were to do it after getting married.
Young love... Can it last in today's society?
Thanks for reading! Baii!!
[All views expressed here are mine and mine alone, I love Miley! And I love Liam. I'm not hating on them, I'm just expressing my opinion on the current situation]
I hope this doesn't change Miley's feelings towards Australia, I can't wait for her next tour down under!

TIME & MONEY
TIME and MONEY.
There are plenty of things I would love to do at the moment that don't have a money restriction, but I am prevented by time. I feel like some of the hours I work just take up my whole day.
Wake up, get ready for work, travel to work, work, travel home from work, do house work and then the next thing I want to do is sleep because I'm just exhausted.
I would love to be able to get home from work, sit in front of the computer, play some games, make some videos, watch some other people's videos, socialise with other people. Something like that. And to be honest, the past 3 days, this is what I have been doing. Sitting in front of the computer when I get home, trying to juggle cooking dinner or doing the washing while having some fun. But I feel bad for doing this.
On my days off work (this is where the money restrictions come in) I would love to have a fun and exciting life and catch bits and bobs of it on camera. I guess there are many exciting things I can do, especially around Sydney, that are affordable, but the effort.. Ok, now I'm just lazy. Damnit..
I have never really been an adventurous person. I want to start breaking through my comfort zones and doing some exciting things. The things that immediately pop into mind (and these are things that I am quite keen to do in the near future) cost more than your average outing. I want to do things like climb the Harbour Bridge, and jump out of a plane. I would be scared poopless doing both of these things, but they are things that I would love to say that I have done.
Don't we all wish we could get paid to do the things we love. I'm hoping that one day I eventually will be, and I'm not going to give up trying to get there.
My question for you: If you didn't have a time or money limit, what would you want to do?

I LOST A DAY!
So let's get back into it. I will be posting 2 videos tomorrow, and I won't get behind again. I hate that feeling! And 2 blog posts tonight.
I've been busy working, visiting family in hospital, partying for friend's birthdays, shopping, cleaning my room and sleeping. There is so much that I want to do at the moment, but I'm really going to be the busiest woman ever if I start doing all of it.
I want to:
-Play more computer games.
-Do more arts/crafts.
-Make more videos.
-Get back into music stuff.
-Go to the gym at least 3 times a week.
While still working and maintaining a social life.
I'm really going to need to organise my life a little, pull out the weekly planner and set aside some time everyday for different things.
I'm going to Brisbane on Friday!! So I will have a week then where I will be able to do everything without having to worry about work or my social life (I will miss my social life for a bit, but I will have more me time).
What are some things you want to get around to doing but feel you don't have time for them? Let me know in the comments bellow!

PROGRESS!!
Things are only moving forward. I think that's one of the most exciting things about media like this and YouTube, is your stats go up, but they can't go down. You just watch things climb.
It is very exciting. I am enjoying writing my blog, getting things off my chest, expressing my opinions and sharing my interests. I am glad there are people out there who are also reading what I'm writing and watching my videos.
Thank you very much for your support, just the numbers is putting a big smile on my face. I'd love to hear some feedback or more comments from people. I'm not sure how to make my blogs more interactive, I spose I could ask a question at the end of each post.
What do you think I could do to make my blogs more interactive?

R U OK?! Quick chat about depression!
It's a crappy feeling when you spiral downwards and there seems to be no way up, but there is a way up, and with some hard work, commitment and love for yourself, you can get there.
If you are feeling down, be it long term or short term, I have written a few things to help pick you up.
Firstly, it really does help to talk to someone. Address the issue. Sometimes you don't even know something's wrong until you talk to someone about it. Just talking to a friend, a relative, a school counselor or a doctor can help.
Other things that can assist in moving upwards:
Music! Singing, writing or just listening. Writing a poem. I find if I'm upset and I listen to depressing music, I will usually stay upset, but if I start listening to upbeat, positive, "shake that booty", "make that bottle pop" music, I feel better. Each to their own though :P
Get OUT! Staying in bed all day is not going to help anybody's situation. Go for a walk, go to the shops, go to the local cafe and enjoy a nice coffee. Being active can really help getting over depression, people say because it releases endorphins or some such, but I think it's a completely mental thing. When you get yourself up and out, and doing something for the good of you, your body and your mind knows that, and that is the happiness you need. You need to be loved by yourself.
Get a pet! Sometimes caring for something else can make you feel more needed and special. Just be careful with this one. If you get a pet like a fish or a mouse, they don't necessarily have the longest of lifespans and the happy outcome you were looking for may backfire.
Do something for yourself! One of the biggest challenges with depression is loving yourself, but that's what you need to do to push through it. Spoil yourself, get a cool new haircut, get your nails done, buy a new outfit or a new computer game. Treat yourself!
Do something that you enjoy! I don't know what you enjoy, but here are a few things that I enjoy that help me. I love making YouTube videos, they may not be great, but I enjoy doing it. I love singing. I enjoy writing a blog everyday. I enjoy watching TV shows. I like working in an environment where I help people.
These are just a few ideas for how to deal with the shitty times in life, and life does have shitty times, but it can have some really great times too. You need to go out and make them happen and enjoy them when they come.
Please, if you do need help, get it.

SICK!
I ate something bad, I'm thinking it was cheese. I'm not 100% sure, but whatever it was, it has destroyed me.
I'm very tired and start work at 6am tomorrow morning, so lets hope this doesn't keep me up all night. Lets also hope it doesn't turn into something more serious. I want to be strong and fit for Queensland in less than 2 weeks!
Short rant post it is! I'll make up for it one day...

My Thoughts on Sixty Second September!
It seems easy enough to just talk to the camera for 1 minute. You would think you could do this everyday for a month. But when you have a really busy day, or you're not in the best of moods, its not always easy to talk to accomplish.
I like to edit my videos because I dislike talking for one minute straight to an object. I find I get side tracked, I say "umm", I pause, I scratch my nose, I just do things that would look better edited out. So when I don't have time in the day to edit, I don't have a great time.
I got behind on my SSS vlogs at just day 6! I told myself and my fb page I would upload 2 videos on the 7th, but when I tried to edit some material, my laptop completely died (read about my poor laptop here) and so on the 7th, I went out and bought a new laptop and a table for the laptop. I had to clear room for the new table, I had to put the table together, then I turned on my laptop an had to set it up and by the time all of this was done, it was 11pm and the last thing I wanted to do was record and edit a video. The 8th (yesterday) was much the same. I wanted to catch up on the vlogs but I still had to programme the laptop, and Martin and I went to IKEA and bought a wardrobe. So, yesterday we spent all day cleaning, building a wardrobe and again I couldn't find 10 minutes to put aside to edit a video. (excuses excuses)
I want to make my videos with a little bit of quality. I believe almost all of the quality comes from the content and not having a plan for my videos is leading towards cheap content. I know you're not going to get a massive production into a 1 minute video, and I don't have the time or resources for a massive production, I just need to be better organised. I don't usually write a script for my videos. I think I might start at least writing some key notes to talk about, it will be much easier for everything.
I feel bad that I fell behind on the videos. I'm catching up now and it hopefully won't happen again :). Only three weeks to go! It can't be that hard.
K, let me go and edit!

Spring Cleaning!
Martin and I went shopping for a new wardrobe today at, none other than, IKEA! The ultimate relationship test. What a great bonding experience, buying a house item together then having to build it together. We had to pull down the old wardrobe and transfer all of our clothes and other stuff to a different location while we built the wardrobe. No arguments were had, well... Moving along.
We are going through everything and throwing things out bit by bit. Things like clothing, stuff we don't use and so much paper, like letters and brochures and stuff.
It feels good to be able to create more room, feels bad when I start to think we're just going to fill it up with more stuff, but hopefully we (I mean I) will be able to keep it tidy for a while.
We had been putting off doing a big clean up for a while. The biggest tip I have for you, if you're wanting to clean, is to just get started. My issue with "just getting started" was I didn't know where to start, so I picked up everything that was on the floor or didn't have a proper space to go, and put it on the bed.
I sorted through the stuff on the bed and threw away the things I didn't need or use any more. I kept everything on the bed until I had cleaned a storage space that could house the items. So, going through the cupboard and drawers and throwing away what you don't need, or finding a better storage space for some items.
I live in a share house, so I am quite fortunate I only have one room of a house to clean. I don't recommend you put all of your belongings from around your house on your bed. The bed idea pretty much only works for a bedroom clean up :).
Also, I do not throw everything away. The items that are still in good condition I donate to the local thrift shop. I would usually like to try and sell some of the better items for a bit of extra cash, but the idea of this clean up was to de-clutter, and to be keeping the items, waiting for a buyer would just be annoying.
Good luck, and I hope this motivates you to de-clutter this Spring.

Australian Election! RESULTS ARE IN!
Mr Tony Abott, leader of the Liberal party, won the Australian election. Labour is out, and Kevin Rudd seems a bit relieved about this, as the result was given, he stepped down from his position as leader of the Labour party.
I don't know what this means for Australia. What's going to happen now? How quickly will changes be made and how drastic are these changes going to be?
I don't quite understand politics, but I would really like to, so I will be off to do some research (after writing this, so I look silly now, but just you wait). I get that one person is the "leader" of the nation, but does that mean that they have the final decision on a proposal or do they create the proposal for other members of parliament to discuss?
I've heard a lot of bad about Mr Abott and I would like to hear some good. What good is he going to bring to Australia being the new Prime Minister? How am I, a 21 year old female who isn't sure of the direction she's heading, going to benefit from this man being the leader of the country?
The thing that I felt separated the two parties in my eyes was, Labour is about the people, the families, students and the general population, I feel that the Liberal Party are more about business people, high income earners, lawyers and such, and they don't really care for the smaller people trying to build their way up. I feel like the liberal party is just going to make to rules to keep the little people down and the bigger people up and rising.
I am not saying my opinion is right in any way, I want to like the current PM, I want to be happy for the nation and have something to hope for for our country. Let me know what you think.
I'm confused.

Upgrading! Good bye, Barry!
The past 4 or 5 videos I've made and edited have driven me nuts. My laptop can't handle the freakishly good content I'm trying to make and it just dies from exhaustion. It's quite upsetting. The poor thing's disk drive no longer works, it's power cable (life line, as I like to call it) resigned a few weeks ago, the keys are falling off and it needs a red bull to wake it up.
I do love my little Toshiba laptop (we'll call him Barry to make things more dramatic). He's been a great friend for more than 4 years. We've had a lot of fun together and I'm glad I've used him to his final breaking point. I'm sorry to see you go Barry but I unfortunately need to move on and find a bigger, more powerful man.
I've been shopping around for different laptops that suit my needs. I am wanting to do a lot of video editing, so I need something that can keep up with that. Almost all of the pro YouTubers use Apple Macs for their videos. I love final cut pro, but I can't justify getting an Apple product just for one piece of software, which I have an equivalent of anyway.
Primary concern, editing videos. Everything beyond this is a want, not quite a necessity. I want to play more video games. Poor, old, Barry can't handle the majority of games, so this would be a pleasurable feature. I have also been thinking of creating a gaming channel on YouTube, where I just record my game play with a bit of commentary. This is a huge want, like a really really really want.
A gaming laptop is high on my list. In fact, I can't really look past a gaming laptop. I want a big, powerful box, that won't cause me any dramas and won't need any inside upgrades for as long as its life span (a bit hard to ask as technology is always advancing) something that will still be top notch in a few years. I am looking at this purchase as an investment. A big investment. I really want to do this.
I'm glad I've written this down. It's like I just justified buying a new laptop to myself. I am very excited and hopefully it'll be happening sooner than later. I'll be sure to let you know when it does happen!

Fantastic Day!- recap.
I woke up feeling energised, I went to the gym and went shopping, but that's boring compared to my afternoon.
The highlight of my day was hanging out with Choppa! This man is amazing. Check out his YouTube channel here. He is so full of knowledge and confidence. He just makes me happy.
We made a Kenny (from South Park) cake together!! Out of 80 cakes, this will be the first on his channel that he has taught someone how to teach in person. He made it so easy! His instructions were clear and I was really surprised at how much of the cake I could do on my own.
I got to take Kenny the cake home! For my 60 second September video, I literally killed Kenny.
Martin and I had a few slices each and it was really tasty :)
Check out my video "I killed Kenny" bellow.

Blog poem!
A poem about a blog,
Within a blog it stays,
People read it not knowing,
Through my head it plays and plays.
To think up things is hard,
We run low on cool ideas,
So a poem works just fine,
Until a better idea appears.
So this is it for now,
A rusty poem will have to do,
Until next time, lovely people,
All my ideas are left to stew.

September Challenge!
For all 30 days of September, I will be making and posting a 1 minute video. EVERYDAY! Much like my blog challenge I gave myself for August, except video/vlog form!
I'm pretty lucky it's only a minute. I'm thinking of little challenges such as holding my breath, talking really fast, showing the world my shoes. Things along those lines!
I did really well with the August challenge. I didn't miss a day! But I'm nervous for this challenge because it involves editing and putting yourself in front of the camera. So I can't just sit here in my pyjamas and type. I need to put some effort in! I need to shower! Maybe brush my hair! Possibly put some make up on! Just kidding, I do all that stuff everyday anyway, but the true challenge is I need to find about 30 minutes, at least, everyday to just make these videos.
I am also continuing my August challenge of the blog a day. I love this challenge because it kept my mind busy and it showed that I was doing something extra everyday than just work or lazing around. I'll need to find some extra time in the day for my blog too!
That's it! That's my challenge for September! I'm a day late, so I'll have to make 2x 60 second videos today and we'll go from there!
If this is your kind of thing, I challenge you to do #SSS2013 too!

The Throwback Tag
Questions about growing up!
1. What year were you born in?1992
2. Do you have any pictures of yourself from when you were younger? If you do, show them.

3. What TV shows did you grow up watching?
The Simpsons, Rugrats, Ferral TV, Charmed, South Park.
4. What did you want to be when you grow up and do you still want to be that?
I wanted to be a police officer. I no longer wish to be a police officer. I would love to work in media, be it TV, radio, music, publishing or film.
5. Show a video of yourself when you were younger.
UNABLE TO COMPLETE
6. What were your favorite toys to play with?
Tugger- my toy dog. Lego! I used to collect Tazos. My sister and I used to make dolls houses and mazes with books.
7. What's the most embarrassing thing that you can remember doing?
Making a racial comment in front of a close African-american family friend, not knowing that there was anything wrong with saying it. This was said in front of around 7 adults. they all took it very well. but I was pulled aside and quickly learnt a good lesson.
8. Read something you wrote when you were in Kindergarten
UNABLE TO COMPLETE
9. Three songs you loved to listen to as a child.Steps- 5,6,7,8
Britany Spears- ALL OF IT
Madona- Music and Beautiful Stranger.
10. What was one funny thing you dressed up as for Halloween when you were younger?A vampire. Wait no, I dressed up as a killer farmer one year. I wore overalls and covered myself in ketchup, walking around, door to door with a pitchfork. That was fun.
11. Tell a funny story of something you remember happening when you were young.I don't know. I'm not very good at writing "funny" things.. And I can't really think of anything funny. Something that did happen, which would have been funny to see, goes like this. This kid was spinning around a pole on the playground at school. I really really wanted to join him, but I couldn't just join, I had to ask him. So, I walk up to him. I get a bit closer so he can hear me. I bend down to his level (he was swinging around pretty low). AND HE HEADBUTTS ME IN THE FACE! My mouth was bleeding. A few teeth had come loose and cut my lip. BUT! I got free ice blocks from the canteen all day, so life was pretty great. Looking back on that, it was pretty funny.
12. Are there any special things you've kept from when you were a child?I have kept most of my artwork. I also have kept a stapler that reminds me a lot of when I was younger.
13. What was something weird you used to do as a child?Play under my bed... I would have about a foot of room, and I would slide under my bed with a torch and read or play with some toys.
14. What's the scariest thing you remember that happened to you when you were younger?Someone stole my bag and my very first camera. That was very shocking for me.
15. How is the world now different from how it was like when you were a child?
A lot more technology available and upgrades to older technology. TV looks better now.
People change, move or leave.
The world feels so much bigger now that I am old enough to explore it.

My Firsts Tag!
“feeling very lucky and loved” in May 2013. I'm very new to Twitter,
FIRST youtube video?
My boyfriend assisting me doing push-ups. Uploaded late May 2013. I'm very new to YouTube too.
FIRST person you subscribed to on YouTube?
BobWilson123, she has a crochet channel, it's amazing. She taught me how to crochet!
FIRST Facebook profile pic?
Yerp, that's me. 2009.
Do you still talk to your FIRST love?
Nope... stopped talking to a lot of ppl.
What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?
Strongbow apple cider.
What was your FIRST job?
Paper run, technically that was my sisters job that I helped out with. My first real job, Maccas.
What was your FIRST car?
Who was the FIRST person to text you today?
Martin :)
Who is the FIRST person you thought of this morning?
Martin, being woken up at 4:30 by him was lovely, the nicest thoughts were had :)
Who was your FIRST grade teacher?
Ms Withers? Something like that.
Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an aeroplane?
Brisbane when I was a bub.
Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?
My mum was in a mothers group, so all the babies grow up together and the mums can have their mum time together or something, but the ppl in that group I spose :) and we still talk and catch up on occasions.
Where was your FIRST sleep over?
Without family? I can't remember the first one, so I'm going to be really vague and say at a friends house.
What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?
Social Media'd. Checked Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and my emails.. I listened to Miley's new leaked song, which was interesting.
What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?

I'm guessing family doesn't count, so Mr Martin.
If you had one wish, what would it be? (This isn't a "firsts" question, but it was in the list)
I hate the loophole, I would wish for more wishes, because then I could satisfy everyone. I would be able to make a few selfish wishes and a bunch of “heal the world” wishes.
What was the FIRST sport you were involved in?
Dancing, but if that doesn't quite count as a sport (I think it does), then basketball.
What is the FIRST thing you do when you get home?
Take my clothes off. I immediately get changed into my “house clothes”, baggy pants and a singlet.
When was your FIRST kiss? My first kiss that meant something was in year 1 (so I was about 6) my best friend (a guy) during reading group (how romantic)... and we kissed, gave each other a little peck. I was so in love... eugh... kids.

I now have 2 blogs!
Yep, I made a new blog.
After the success of yesterday's post (which I really wasn't expecting), it got me thinking, the 250+ people who clicked on that probably don't want to read about my life and my little rant posts surrounding this one. My new blog will fix this issue. JackyJac, this blog, will be for posts bout daily life, creative expressions etc and my new blog, JackyJac's Opinion, will be a bit more of a gossip blog. I will be posting reviews to songs, my opinion on what's happening in the media and stuff like that.
I probably won't be posting to that blog as often as I am posting here. I will be trying maybe 3-5 posts a week, if I do more, then awesome, if I do less, then I need to pick up the slack.
With the start of my new blog, I have also been thinking about a new channel on YouTube. This probably won't happen for a few months yet, but the thought bubbles are there and they'll be making babies soon.
My next project, that I really need to get stuck in to, is project: make a new display picture! My current pictures for my YouTube, Blogger, Facebook, Twitter are all very outdated. I have had red hair for more than 2 months now, and none of my DP's display this. I need to give myself a deadline for this project. Let's say.. Tomorrow. OK? By 10pm tomorrow, I will have a new DP for all my social media channels. Whew..
Below is the picture I'm thinking of using and probably will end up using. Let me know what you think!

Miley Cyrus- VMAs 2013
Miley's performance at the VMAs really was not much different to the other performances she has been doing since the release of "We Can't Stop". Twerking, humping, tongue sticking outing. Wearing revealing clothes. It's all been done by her before, just the VMA performance, she let it all out in one hit, in front of a world wide audience.
A source* said: "Miley's team is freaking about that performance. They saw the rehearsals, but those were really played down compared to the live performance."
The talk all over social media right now is "have you seen Miley's VMAs performance?" and "watch Miley's performance here". She has drawn herself a hell of a lot of attention. This coming just after the release of her second single, "Wreckingball" and just before her new album, "Bangerz" release. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Lots of people are Googling her name to watch the performance or read reviews, but really, its getting a lot of negative attention and I'm not sure that will help when it comes to the new album.
With Miley's new crazy attitude, some people have started following her just so they can see the next out-there move she makes. She is definitely building a name and a reputation for herself. She has expressed that she is older, and growing up, she's an adult now, but she is not acting that way at all. Her performance, with the humping, and male-masturbating gestures, seemed really immature and a bit of a stretch for some attention.
Miley's last album, "Can't be Tamed", was released 3 years ago and the media was causing a ruckus about her then. As she tried to express that she was "growing up" and breaking away from her Disney girl image. People were shocked at the change in her public persona 3 years ago, but I don't think the world was prepared for her to keep going and take it to the extreme it's at now.
Where is Liam and what does he think of all of this? What about her Mum, Dad and siblings? Are they all on board with the name Miley's giving herself?
It looked like she had fun on stage at the VMAs, I hope she had fun. I hope, however all this pans out, she is happy and doesn't crash. I have been a huge Miley fan since Hannah Montana days and I'm growing up, just as she is, but its all about the choices we make. It's just sad her choices and performances are in the public eye and scrutinized. Stay safe and don't be stupid.

Life in the past week.
Im lying in bed. My whole body is aching.
Since my few days off work and my most amazing weekend ever, I have been working my little butt off. Every day, standing and running around for hours on end. Lifting things, bending certain ways and pushing my body around. I'm exhausted.
I've been working all weekend and it doesn't stop tomorrow.
I just need to keep focusing on the postives, like:
-the experiences I'm getting through working- the people I'm meeting.
-the money $$
-the fun times I can have because I'm working.
-the fact I can look after myself and treat myself to things occasionally.
Even though my body isn't hacking the stress now, it will learn from this and grow stronger. This pain is only temporary.
That's kind of my life recap for the past week (starting from Wednesday) just work, work and more work. But I am very grateful to be in such a position I can say I have so much work.

Words I Will Stop Using.
-Awesome
-Amazing
-Incredible
-Cool
I have been using the above words too much, and the first three are beginning to lose their meaning, the last word is just annoying.
After the huge weekend I had last weekend, I found myself saying one, two, sometimes all of these words every hour that my mouth was flapping. I did have an unbelievable time, but I want and need to improve the vocabulary that I use to describe such events. I was even using these words too often to describe people too, even though I feel they were very deserving of these descriptions, I need to dig deeper and find what truly makes that person so amazing or awesome and use that to describe them.
Some words that will be replacing the above:
-Unbelievable
-Fascinating
-Stunning
-Wonderful
-Exciting
-Impressive
-Thrilling
-Magnificent
-Marvelous
-Fantastic
-Fabulous
-Unreal
To name just a few (thanks thesaurus.com)
I want to put a time frame on this challenge, but I really don't think I'll stick to it. I just have to know and remind myself that OTHER WORDS DO EXIST! o.O
Who'd have thunk it?
I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

This is What I Want!
I always found it hard to answer people when they ask "what do you want to do as a profession?", well now, I have so much more of an outline. I want to work in media. I would love to be my own boss and be able to work from home, doing what I love doing.
Life scares me sometimes, because you do only get one life, and you never know when it could end. I have always been scared that if I go, I'll be leaving nothing behind. Well, ha! My 30 odd blog posts and a couple YouTube videos are here now! But I want to make more. I want this kind of thing to be my life. I want to do radical things and document them for the world to see.
At the moment, it is by no means a job, it is a hobby. I am learning so much by fiddling around on the internet and doing stuff. I could eventually, one day, make this my job. That would be unreal!
I have only been writing blogs for a month, and only been making YouTube videos for 3 months. I am shocked at how this experience is helping me grow as a person. I am so much more confident and happier since starting both of these things. I really feel like I'm on the right path and this hobby will keep my mind in order.
I also love that I am documenting my life. I already look back on my first couple of YouTube videos and can see how much I've grown. I can't imagine what this is going to feel like in a couple of years, when I reread over this, or watch my earlier videos. It's going to be crazy.
This is my hobby. This is what makes me happy and this is what I want to do. I have some big plans for myself in life and I'm so happy I'm taking the right steps to getting there.

A Blog A Day!
I have shocked myself so far, I have been doing really well. Admittedly, some days I will post a really small post that I just pooped out in 5 minutes, but other days I have written posts that I have put a lot of effort into and I've found that it's not that hard!
I originally had set this challenge to just August, but then what? I stop? I start blogging every 2nd day or so? No, I am going to keep going! Everyday!
I have been doing a lot of networking lately, and I have people ask me what my blogs are about. I am unsure of what to say to that, I just write about what I want, what makes me happy, what I'm doing, stuff like that. My blog is like my creative outlet. I felt bad that I couldn't answer their question with something like "I blog about music" or "gaming", but now I have my answer!
My blog is about ME! I recount things I do in my life, I express my personal interests, and I use it as my own creative outlet. But what makes my blog special or different, is I'll be doing this, EVERY DAY!
I love it. I am really enjoying doing this so far, I hope to meet many people through doing this, and I love that I can leave bits of me around the internet.
I hope you, the wonderful person reading this, enjoys what you're reading and will stick around for more.
Thanking You! Baiii! xx
I have a GoPro!
Here is a list of things I feel like I can do since obtaining the GoPro.
- jump out of a plane- sky diving
- go skiing (and be good at it)
- scuba diving
- adventure parks- like giant swings, giant flying foxes, high rope climbing courses.
- climb a mountain
- go surfing
- mountain biking
- climb the Sydney Harbor Bridge
- water skiing
- really tall/ crazy theme park rides
-grass karting (again)
and more...
This camera is dangerous!
Everything on that list used to be so far out of my comfort zone, now I just want to do it, record myself doing it and ye.
I think part of the anxiety towards the activities on the list is the fact that they are dangerous, and I have always felt I WILL die if I try them, but if I have a camera recording me, at least I'll die on camera.
I dunno, but I am definitely going to do some of these things in the near future.
Summer is coming and will make for some good outdoor times. I see theme parks, scuba diving, bridge climb, grass karting and possibly sky diving, all in the near future (being before the end of the year).
I'm telling you, this camera is baaad, but I will not regret these things at all. I will grow as a person by pushing my boundaries and to capture those moments on camera is going to be gold. And here I am blogging about it in my dressing gown... oh boy.

VidINC Sydney 2013- What a jam packed experience!
Why my weekend was insane:
1. It was all made possible by winning my ticket!
On the 25th of June (2013), DamieLou announced a comp on her YouTube channel to win a ticket to VidINC. I filmed, edited and submitted my application (a video of why I was deserving of the ticket) in less than 3 hours. I was so damn happy when I won!
2. I got to go to the Saturday workshop!
This workshop taught things ranging from, how to build up a larger fan base to different kinds of camera techniques. I learnt so much at this workshop. I am so grateful for this experience.
3. VidINC main event!
On Sunday the 18th was the VidINC main event. 1000's of people, who are all into YouTube, getting together and being a part of this huge event. I met so many cool people.
4. VIP seating!
I got my hands on a VIP pass and was able to sit in the VIP seating, front row, of the main stage. Up close to all the big YouTubers who got up and performed.
5. I got to sing with Keenan Cahill!
I approached Keenan and asked him if we could make a Vine video together singing "Roar" by Katy Perry. "I got the eye of the tiger, the fighter, dancing through the fire.." It was pretty damn cool.
6. I won a GoPro action video camera!
There was a comp on at VidINC, who could make the most creative vine video, and my video, singing with Keenan won! (Thanks Boom!)
7. Grass Karting with Devinsupertramp!
I will upload a short video of this, because this was cray cray... Going down huge hills (unfortunately the footage I have is of the least steep hill), reaching crazy speeds, protected only by clothing and a helmet. I came off the kart, flew off the kart and hit the ground many times. I met some really cool people on the shoot too. It was so much fun.
8. Going clubbing with/ Meeting DamieLou!
I'm so happy I got to do this! This was a crazy night! I had so much fun. Wish we could do this sort of thing every weekend. Damie is such a beautiful person, such a fun person. Bah.. <3
9. Meeting Choppa!
I met Choppa through Damie. He is a very cool person. Very knowledgeable. I really look forward to hanging out with this man in future.
10. Hanging out with Damie and Choppa again!
After Damie and Choppa met Jenna Marbles (yes, they did, yes, I'm jelly), we met up in the city for some hangs before Damie had to go back to Melbourne.
11. Extra hanging out time at the airport!
I didn't want to leave Damie and Choppa in the city, to be honest, I didn't want them or I to leave at all. Damie, Choppa and I went to the airport together and we hung out for another hour at the airport. Good times :) A really nice way to end this long weekend of madness.
Thank you to everyone envolved:

In the time that I spent with all of you, in those few hours, just know that you have greatly impacted me as a person and helped shape the direction in which I'll be heading.
I feel so lucky and so special.

Social Networking!
I didn't want people to contact me on my private Facebook page, so I created a page that people can "like" and interact with me on there.
I was a bit nervous about starting a Facebook page. I didn't think anyone would "like" it. It doesn't have very much on there yet (I created it yesterday, so what'd you expect), but as time goes on, it'll get busier.
I will be promoting my blog posts and YouTube videos on the page. I also hope to interact more with my audience and maybe grow a larger fan base through the page.
I also have a Twitter account and I will be sorting out a Tumblr and Instagram soon.
Please "like" my Facebook page, follow me on Twitter and subscribe to me on YouTube. I want my audience to help me grow as a person and find my direction by being a part of my social networking life.
Thank You, Kind Man!
I woke up this morning knowing it was day 1 of the YouTube convention, VidINC. Today was just a day dedicated to workshops, but they were covering topics that I was really interested in. Big YouTubers and YouTube Channel Network companies were talking about their tips and tricks about making it through YouTube.
I quickly got dressed, and ran out the door, hoping that when I arrived, tickets would be cheaper at the door than they were online. I jumped on the train, feeling anxious, I was running late and I really didn't expect anything of the journey, but I thought I'd try my luck anyways.
I made it to the front of the Exhibition Centre at 10:05am (the workshop started at 10:00am), I follow some people around the building who also looked a little lost. I start talking to this guy, I didn't catch his name, but we decided to look for the main entrance to the event together. He was hoping to buy his ticket at the door too.
This guy was amazing, he works for YouTube and he knew some people presenting. He was interested in what I wanted to do with YouTube and was a lovely man.
We rock up at the front desk and ask if we can get 2 tickets, are they any cheaper, etc etc (The tickets were pretty expensive). We could buy tickets at the door, but we couldn't get them for cheaper. I was pretty upset and about to go home when the man I was with offered to pay for my ticket.
I was stoked. Like, gob smacked. So happy, I was speechless. I didn't know how to thank him.
We went into the workshop, half an hour late, but for a 9 hour day, we had heaps of time and different topics to learn from ahead of us.
The man started talking to a woman (who also worked for YouTube), and left at around 12pm. I didn't see him again after that. I feel bad I didn't get his name, or buy him lunch or something.
I really can't thank him enough. I had a wonderful day, met some really cool people and my head exploded with all the things I learnt about. I want this man to know I had a great day and really truly appreciate the kindness and generosity you showed today. <3
Thank you, kind man! I hope to see you tomorrow at the VidINC main event!

VidINC Sydney!! Pre-Excitement!!
I'm not even that excited about the famous YouTubers who are going to be there. Well, of course I am super excited about them, but I'm more excited about the stalls, the people I'm going to meet, the things I'm going to learn and the overall experience I'm going to have. It's going to be a great day.
I don't totally know what to expect over the weekend, so I'm not really sure how to prepare.
I'm charging both my camera and video camera. Freeing up space on the SD cards. I have no idea what bag I should take (big to fit things in, or small for convenience?). I'm making little business card things, with details like this blog address and YouTube channel info. I have my outfit sorted- not sure bout hair or makeup. Money for merch, and stuff. Some food, cause eating at an event can be quite expensive (but if I take a small bag, I won't be taking food). A notebook for jotting down inspiring stuff.
I am nervous I'm going to forget something or wish I had thought of something else, but what else could there be. I dunno. I'm sure I'll think of something.
I am so excited about the people I'm going to meet. I'm just starting out on YouTube and I am hoping to meet people who are in the same position as me. I'm going to make some new friends who share similar interests and might meet some people who want to collaborate with some videos. I'll be meeting lots of people who can teach me new things, and I'm really looking forward to that!
I really need to get my energy up, confidence up. Like today, I'm feeling really flat, not really in the mood to talk to people (I don't know why). But on Sunday, I can't let anxiety get the best of me. I need to be bright, bubbly and confident. Keen as a bean to meet new people.
I feel like an event like this can be life changing due to the things you learn and the people you meet. I'm pretty flippin' excited. I don't know how else to say it.
If you're going to VidINC, let me know. Would love to say HI and meet some new faces.
Have a pic of my business card.

I went to the gym.
I did it! I went to the gym. I felt worse physically for doing so, but good mentally for getting out and getting active.
I got home and went straight to bed. Was so exhausted.
I rowed 500m in 2 min 5 seconds
Did a bunch of self weighted squats/ lunges.
5kg tricep extention
5kg rows
Some push ups and sit ups
And I was wrecked. Such a weak work out, but I'm not 100% well yet.
I go back today and do a little more.
We'll see.
I said I would go to the gym.
I said I would go to the gym today, and I will. It is now 6:30pm, I still have time.
I've been super worried about going to the gym. I've been sick, and I just want to get better. I am still coughing a bunch and feeling weak, but I need to get my body moving I think.
So, I will be going to the gym and I'll be doing I light, weight workout. Working my core and legs. Squats, lunges, planking, pushups, a few dead lifts- that kind of thing.
Might sit in the steam room for a minute too.
This is just more procrastinating before I go.. I am pretty nervous. I know in the past 2 weeks I've lost a lot of muscle and become a little dumpling, I just have to move to get my fitness back and I DUN WANNA!!
I will... I'll take a pic and write a quick blog entry when I get home, as evidence. A nice, bright red, sweaty face for you all to look at.
Sound good? OK!
Lady Gaga- APPLAUSE. My Short Review.
I love this song, not because of the hype, or because it's Lady Gaga (if anything, that made me more uncertain it would be any good) I love this song because it's a great dance track, it's empowering and fun. Anyone who sings along to this song in the shower, in their bedroom, in a talent show, where ever, they will feel like a super star.
Lady Gaga always talks about her Monsters (fans) and how much she appreciates each and every one of them, you can tell that this song is for them. Another piece of art to show her appreciation.
My favourite part of the song is the hook:
I live for the applause, applause, applause
I live for the applause-plause, live for the applause-plause
Live for the way that cheer and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause I love the change in the music, the drop in the beat, the build up to the chorus. It's great. Towards the end, the build up with the cheering and clapping. It's very satisfying. A great hook, leading into an energetic, fun fueled chorus.
A great track to prepare the world for her new album.

LYRICS_____________________________
I stand here waiting for you to bang the gong
To crash the critic saying, "is it right or is it wrong?"
If only fame had an IV, baby could I bear
Being away from you, I found the vein, put it in here
I live for the applause, applause, applause
I live for the applause-plause, live for the applause-plause
Live for the way that cheer and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause
Give me that thing that I love
(I'll turn the lights out)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch
(Make it real loud)
Give me that thing that I love
(I'll turn the lights out)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch
(Make it real loud)
A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E
Make it real loud
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch
A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E
Make it real loud
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch
I've overheard your theory
"Nostalgia's for geeks"
I guess sir, if you say so
Some of us just like to read
One second I'm a Koons
Then suddenly the Koons is me
Pop culture was in art
Now, art's in pop culture in me
I live for the applause, applause, applause
I live for the applause-plause, live for the applause-plause
Live for the way that cheer and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause
Give me that thing that I love
(Turn the lights on)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch
(Make it real loud)
Give me that thing that I love
(Turn the lights on)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch
(Make it real loud)
A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E
Make it real loud
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch
A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E
Make it real loud
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch
Touch, touch
Touch, touch, now
I live for the applause, applause, applause
I live for the applause-plause, live for the applause-plause
Live for the way that cheer and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause
Give me that thing that I love
(I'll turn the lights out)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch
(Make it real loud)
Give me that thing that I love
(I'll turn the lights out)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch
(Make it real loud)
A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E
Make it real loud
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch
A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E
Make it real loud
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch
A-R-T-P-O-P

Deleting my WoW subscription.
I am thinking about deleting my World of Warcraft subscription.
I want to get better at the game, but to get better, I need to invest a lot of time into playing, and I feel that at this point in my life, my time can be used for much more productive things.
I want to focus more on my blog and YouTube channel, and finding a good full time job.
I will miss playing WoW, and I'm sure, give me 6 months, I'll be back. I'm really taking a pokemon approach to the pet battles and collecting/ capturing all the pets. I need a lot more experience in PvP, and I would love to do some heroic dungeon runs and get myself a cool mount and awesome gear. At this point in time, it's not going to happen. I feel like WoW would be a better experience for me if I made some friends in the game, but I haven't met anyone, and it's just lonely for me to play (even though I sometimes play with my boyfriend) and I've got no one who would like to help carry or teach my n00b ass.
I'm not 100% certain I will be unsubscribing yet. I will think about it for a couple days and confirm the decision then.
I might watch a bunch of WoW PvP YouTube clips and teach myself from them and build up my want to play again, but for now, this is where I stand and how I feel.

Fruit
Banana, Avacado
Pear, Cherries
Peach, Mango
Lime, Berries
I love fruit. I've put on a little bit of weight recently. I spoke to a personal trainer about it and they suggested I've been eating too much fruit.
Tries to be healthy to lose weight, is too healthy and does reverse.... fml.

I don't know what to write about.
I have maintained my blog post a day so far throughout August, going well, but today, I'm not feeling it. I was unsure of what to wrote about. So I decided to write about it.
My blog doesn't have a theme (obviously) and I'm not sure if thats a good or a bad thing. There are people who say you need to stick to one theme to attract readers, but I'm not sure what I want my theme to be yet, I just want to have a muck around and get a feel for things.
I have ideas about what I'd like to write about, but as I'm lying here in bed, on my phone, I can't be bothered writing an essay. Maybe tomorrow I'll make up for it :)
I also don't know if I should write blog posts but not publish them, keep them for a day like today when I can't think of anything. I think that could work too.
Having a blog is strange. I'm not sure who reads this. I'm not 100% certain who I should be writing this for. What sort of niche? Market? I don't know..
I will work it out. This is just a thought post. I will have some more intersting posts coming.
Thanks BAIIII!!
